Trading in Financial Markets

Week 1

This course will provide you with an understanding of real-world financial markets. You will be based in the academy’s trading floor and will learn about how macroeconomic and political news influences market prices. You will be introduced to the concepts of trading psychology and risk management, alongside experience in assets such as FX, commodities and equity indices. Visits to financial institutions around London may be arranged as part of the course.

Trading Strategies

Week 2

This course develops concepts introduced in the Trading of Financial Markets program. You will learn how to create various trading strategies with the help and guidance of our academic team and become traders for the week using our simulated live trading platforms. You will be able to apply everything you have learned to real-time financial markets using the fundamental, technical and behavioral analysis tools you have become familiar with to see how your knowledge has evolved
